Dr. Krishnan's mandate in the Division of Rheumatology is to develop a research program in musculoskeletal diseases. He has research interests in epidemiology, health services research and clinical ethics. Dr. Krishnan has been working on osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, systemic sclerosis, and gout. He has extensively published in the use of self-reported functional disability and cardiovascular outcomes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and gout.
