Clinical Interests: Dr. Medsger's primary clinical and investigative interest is the connective tissue diseases, particularly systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). He is world-recognized
for scleroderma research and has made significant contributions to our understanding of the epidemiology, clinical and laboratory features and natural history of this disease. Dr. Medsger has also published on adult-onset Still's disease, polymyositis-dermatomyositis, systemic lupus erythematosus,
Raynaud's disease and Sjogren's disease.
